About
Hello! And welcome to Ten Dollar Thoughts. My name is Gale and I am but another young woman tapping into cyberspace to flex her mental muscle.
I am a full-time marketing professional, a wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend. I am talkative, left-handed, and neurotic about good grammar. I love to cook (and to eat). I read a lot, but not as much as I should. My husband (GAP) and I travel someplace new every year, but also make a point to go back to our favorite spots from time to time. I grew up in the South and have lived in the Midwest for more than ten years. I have three little boys (IEP – four years, JDP – two years, and SSP – one year), and two Bernese Mountain Dogs who have conspired with my husband to make sure that I am outnumbered forever. I have undergraduate degrees in Business and Spanish, and an MBA with concentrations in marketing and economic strategy.
I have a curious mind and I like to use it, although I sometimes find myself in a rut. I am here to ask big questions and attempt to answer them; to explore new ideas and rehash old ones; to shake off the cobwebs of my daily routine and force myself into the periodic paradigm shift. And I hope to become smarter and more open-minded, insightful, and astute because of it.
I welcome your responses, thoughts, and contradictions. What better way to learn than from dialog and conversation!
